Our Wet-Lab Facility

Our courses are run in a fully equipped ophthalmic wet-lab facility, built for hands-on surgical practice rather than lectures. Training uses ex vivo ocular tissue and artificial eye models inside a controlled simulation environment, so trainees work with instruments and tissue that behave like the real thing before they ever operate on a patient.

Each session runs in a small-group format under direct supervision, with trainees working at individual surgical workstations equipped with ophthalmic surgical microscopes and retinal projection displays, so instructors and the whole group can follow the same view in real time.
